City of The Hague
"Welcome to The Hague. A truly global city with a magnificent historic centre"
About us
I think of this city as a treasure chest. We have an impressive beach with two resorts, a magnificent historic centre with the oldest functioning state buildings in Europe, and an exciting cultural life with any number of theatres, music halls, museums and festivals. We're a truly global city, with embassies, international organisations, multinational companies and people from all over the world. But more than anything else The Hague is a great place to live. The city has many parks and sport facilities, and so many shops that you can find whatever you need at any price. Not to mention our restaurants, bars and discothèques for an evening out.
But how to know where to start and where to go when you've only just arrived? That's why the City of The Hague recommends The HaGuest Card and The HaGuest Guide. Be you from Beijing, Boston or Beirut, these organisations and companies are experts at making international newcomers feel right at home.
Enjoy the pleasures of your citizenship and your membership. I wish you a memorable stay in The Hague.
